General description: Frozen blackberry consisting of sound, whole fruit, practically free from moulds, rots and predominantly free from blemishes, A metal detector is used in addition to the freezing process. Non-GM

Sensory Characteristics:
Appearance: Whole ripe fruit reasonably free from splitting and bruising
Flavour and Odour: Normal for ripe blackberry
Colour: uniform Black color with 10% max of red color
Size:unsized
Physical Characteristics:
Free from foreign matter and extraneous plant matter except where specifically noted below:
MAXIMUM TOLERANCES per 500g
Extraneous plant material from the blackberry bush only
e.g.; Stems, Leaves & pieces of leaves: 5g
Larger stalks: Nil.
Broken fruits: 5%
Foreign material: Nil.
(Includes insects, stones, wood, plastic, fibre, human hair, dust, plant matter other than raspberry etc)
Chemical Characteristics: Residues within limits for Thailand Legislation. E.g.: Agrochemicals, environmental contaminants and heavy metals.
Microbiological Characteristics: reasonably free from pathological materials
Packing: IQF, in bulk packed in cartons of N.W. 1X10kg; with a polybag inside
Labeling: all cartons to be sticked without or with labels according to the buyer’s instruction.
Storage: to be kept under –18 degrees centigrade
Shelf Life: 24 months at max. -18 degrees centigrade.
